Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I started working as a Marketing Manager for the Dutch market at Temu in February 2024. I mainly focus on translating and localizing content from English to Dutch, things like website text, ads, and video scripts. Making sure everything feels natural and engaging for Dutch customers. I’ve learned how to write marketing and sales texts that really grab attention.

Lately, I’ve started designing ads because I want to keep growing and expanding my skills. I love challenging myself and making sure our campaigns don’t just sound good but also look great!

 

In March 2020 I worked at iFlavours in Amsterdam as a full-time Digital Designer. But since I love learning new things, I also took on a part-time role as a Database Operator at the same company. Over the years, my role kept expanding, and I got involved in more and more tasks.

Besides my main work, I also organized the weekly company drinks, bi-monthly outings, and other social activities. During the pandemic, when everyone was working from home, I set up online drinks and quizzes to keep the team connected and make sure we still had some (virtual) fun together!

 

During my study B.Sc. ‘Communication and Multimedia Design’ at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, I’ve run a wide verity of projects, using Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, web design, app design, coding and lots more. I always love to challenge myself to jump into new territory to widen my horizon of knowledge. I love doing projects that are diverse since it excites me to learn something new every time.

 

My dream job would be one that has a perfect balance between using creativity to design and executing codes to develop webpages. I would love to get involved in projects that have a lot of variety since I find it exciting to be able to think outside the box and take unconventional approaches to solve the problems that I might encounter at work.
